Job Title: Fleet Mechanic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Mechanic Specialist to join our team at MHRP/MPRH (by/par R-2) in Campbellton Regional Community, New Brunswick. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform routine maintenance checks on diesel/gasoline powered automotive vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, fluid level checks, and brake inspections.
  • To diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment and construction trucks, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • To maintain a high level of safety standards while working with heavy machinery and equipment.
  • To collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
  • To stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies to continuously improve our services.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a journey-person in the truck and transport service technician occupation. You must possess a valid Class 3E driver's license with air brake endorsement and have written comprehension skills. A successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal background verification and a driver's abstract verification.
