About the Role

PCL Construction is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Student to join our team in Oakville, Ontario. As a Business Development Student, you will play a key role in supporting our business development and new markets strategic development through research and data mining.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and data analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track market data and sales performance.
  • Assist in evaluating public procurement platforms to find new construction opportunities.
  • Prepare custom reports and presentations to meet the organization's needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information.
  • Participate in ad hoc initiatives and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Superior trend spotting and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Highly organized self-starter with excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and develop positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for understanding data analytics and its integration into the business process.
