About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Investment Banking Analyst to join our team. As an Investment Banking Analyst at BMO, you will gain valuable exposure to a wide number of industries and work with a variety of financial products, including public and private debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory.

Responsibilities

  • Run valuation analyses to provide insights to clients and stakeholders
  • Perform complex financial modeling to support investment decisions
  • Conduct industry and company research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop client presentations to communicate complex financial information
  • Write internal and external marketing memoranda to promote our services
  • Perform other tasks supporting client relationships and business development

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, graduating in December 2024 or Spring 2025
  • An undergraduate degree in finance, math, accounting, engineering, economics, statistics
  • A minimum cGPA of 3.4/4.0
  • Outstanding academic achievement, leadership experience, and peer recognition
  • Demonstrated leadership attributes in work, school, or community
  • Excellent analytical skills in business, financial, and credit analysis areas
  • Strong interpersonal skills used within a demanding team environment
  • Ability to attentively review, assess, and provide detailed information daily on multiple projects in an organized manner
  • Demonstrated proactivity, resiliency, and an unfailingly positive attitude
  • Excellent capacity to independently function as part of a team through self-motivation
  • Strong work ethic and a high level of integrity
