About the Role

FIVE RIVER EXPRESS LTD. is seeking a skilled Automobile Lubrication Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fluid Maintenance: Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids to ensure smooth operation of our vehicles.
  • Engine Lubrication: Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Greasing and Servicing: Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment to maintain proper function.
  • Component Replacement: Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators as needed to ensure our vehicles are in top condition.
  • Filter Replacement: Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: This role requires frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as hand-eye coordination.
  • Work Conditions: The work environment is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Required Tools and Equipment
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Gloves, safety glasses/goggles, and steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
  • Tools: A set of basic tools is necessary for this position.
Work Schedule and Language
  • Work Schedule: This is a permanent position with a regular work schedule of 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
