Accounting Clerk Job Description
  • Education: A college certificate or diploma in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting is necessary.
  • Or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
  2. Reconcile accounts, prepare and post journal entries, and maintain general ledgers.
  3. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  4. Prepare and submit tax returns.
  5. Perform other accounting tasks as required.
