About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Leadership: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient bakery operation.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
