Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Beacon Building Products in Quebec City. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely transporting construction materials to our customers while adhering to our safety policies and regulations.
About the Role:
- Deliver construction materials to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Perform pre-departure checks and ensure the vehicle is in good condition
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a clean driving record
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless delivery operations
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license
- Good driving record and reliability
- Secondary 5 education or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform the demands of the job
