Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to our finance operations. Your expertise will help us drive business growth, manage risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and capitalize on opportunities
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of finance professionals, including analysts, supervisors, and managers
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive the development and execution of comprehensive analysis and reporting
- Monitor external macro-economic factors and inform management of critical changes in assumptions
- Prepare communications and presentations for senior management and the Board on performance and risk management
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with a master's degree considered an asset
- At least 7+ years of experience managing multiple resources and business units in the P&C Insurance industry
- Knowledge of IFRS17 and P&C1 reporting and insurance regulatory standards is a strong asset
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to organize and manage large complex projects and multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to communicate data and findings to senior management levels
