Job Title: 3D Gaming Programmer

At 2K, we're seeking a highly skilled 3D Gaming Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our graphics team, you'll be responsible for creating stunning visual experiences for our players.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement high-performance graphics algorithms and techniques to deliver exceptional image quality.
  2. Collaborate with artists and designers to understand their vision and requirements, and develop solutions to meet their needs.
  3. Optimize code for maximum performance, ensuring seamless gameplay and a high-quality visual experience.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in computer graphics and game engine technology, and apply this knowledge to improve our games.
  5. Contribute to the development of new features and tools, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  1. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. At least 7 years of experience in general programming, with a strong focus on graphics programming.
  3. Proficiency in C++ and HLSL, with experience in DirectX and console development.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with artists, designers, and other developers.
  5. A passion for computer graphics and game engine technology, with a desire to stay at the forefront of industry developments.
