Project Engineering Student Opportunity

Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineering Student to join our Horizon Project Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of multi-disciplinary capital projects, developing knowledge and experience in engineering, project management, and field construction.
  • Work with senior project engineers to ensure all engineering deliverables and contractual obligations are met.
  • Participate in internal project activities, including HAZOPS, 3D model reviews, procurement activities, and deliverables review process.
  • Assist the construction group in resolving engineering and technical issues that arise outside the approved engineering design.
  • Develop and maintain project engineering tools and templates.
  • Conduct field walk downs and measure construction progress.
  • Manage change orders to support construction.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor Engineering or Master's Degree Program.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
