About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Drummond Lodge. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Stock linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, handle and report lost and found items, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure that all areas are clean and tidy, paying close attention to detail to maintain a high level of quality and cleanliness.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and physical demands such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, team player, and honesty.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, including shift and on-call work. The work language is English, and the work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
