Clinical Support Specialist

We are seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team at Dental Care Alliance. This individual will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and satisfaction while working in a collaborative environment. They will support staff members and patients, answer phones, handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and assist with treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements.
This role also offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including medical and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, workers' compensation benefits, 401k Plan, overtime, paid time off, and leave required under federal, state, or local law. Essential Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service; acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
- Respond to patient questions and concerns according to DCA Policies
- Answer telephones
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain appointment book
- Confirm appointments
- Follow up on no shows/cancellation of appointments
- Register patients on sign-in sheet
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts
- Check voice-mail on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office preferred
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
- Experience answering telephone
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
