Fruit Farming Labourer Job Description

Krause Farms Ltd is seeking a Fruit Farming Labourer to join our team. As a Fruit Farming Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our fruit farm, including cleaning the crops, cutting agricultural crops, and sorting fruits and vegetables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean the crops
  • Cut agricultural crops
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
  • Hand harvesting vegetables
  • Pick row and orchard crops
  • Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
  • Sort fruits and vegetables
  • Weeding
  • Harvest crops
  • Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
Work Environment:

The work environment is outdoors, with all weather conditions. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. Overtime may be required.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Langue de travail: Anglais
