Office Furniture Installation Specialist

At Transform Fleet Outfitters Inc., we are seeking a skilled Office Furniture Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Office Furniture Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation of office furniture in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong professionalism in customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field. Alternatively, equivalent experience will be considered. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as professionalism in customer service, document and prepare invoices and work orders, measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, supervise other workers, utilize hand and power tools, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
The Work Setting for this role will be in an installation environment, with a focus on office furniture. The Tasks involved in this role will include professionalism in customer service, document and prepare invoices and work orders, measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, supervise other workers, utilize hand and power tools, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
The Area of Specialization for this role will be office furniture. The Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities required for this role will include a fast-paced environment, physically demanding work, attention to detail, handling heavy loads, overtime required, and repetitive tasks.
The Weight Handling required for this role will be up to 23 kg (50 lbs). The Own Tools/Equipment required for this role will include tools, steel-toed safety boots, cellular phone, and gloves. The Personal Suitability required for this role will include punctuality, accuracy, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, work term: permanent, work language: English, and hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
