We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Transportation team at Stantec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
- Engineering Design: Prepare and develop engineering design plans, coordinate projects between disciplines, and ensure compliance with design standards and guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct QA/QC reviews of design plans to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Client Management: Coordinate with clients and agencies regarding project data, needs, and status.
- Scope Development: Prepare and negotiate scopes of work and cost estimates.
- Financial Management: Maintain project financials, invoicing, cash collections, and maximize profit on projects.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Transportation Leaders and other Project Managers to identify staffing, equipment, and training requirements.
- Quality Management: Support the Stantec Quality Management System and promote Stantec's Environmental Health & Safety program.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of relevant roadway and highway design guides, such as the TAC Geometric Design Guide and local client design guides.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and familiar with highway and roadway design related software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and InRoads.
- Project Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering/project management and project implementation with experience in the design of transportation-related facilities.
- Professional Certification: Registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Saskatchewan (or eligible for licensing with APEGS).
