Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Generator Technician to join our team. As a Generator Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work with a variety of makes, models, and equipment to develop new skills and expertise
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced technicians to share knowledge and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in equipment technology

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired
  • 3-5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
