Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Architect to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the architecture and functionality of our web pages, ensuring seamless end-user access to critical business services.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Web Architect, you will:

  • Design and develop the architecture and functionality of web pages, ensuring effective communication of ideas, solutions, and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss ideas, capabilities, layout, and organization of the site, and other matters concerning overall graphic design.
  • Develop and deliver solutions through a combination of in-house developers and external resources, as needed.
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss and refine the solution design, ensuring it meets stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, influencing their work to ensure the successful implementation of web solutions.


Critical Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7-10 years of recent and directly related experience in Web Architecture.
  • A balance of business, technical knowledge, and understanding of software tools and functionality, as well as graphic design skills.
  • Mastery of HTML and current extensions.
  • Working knowledge of FTP and other programs that enable web functions to work.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, Photoshop, and multimedia creation tools like Flash and HTML5.
  • Experience working with clients in e-commerce environments.
  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to listen closely to stakeholders and create pages that reflect their needs.
  • Flexibility, proactivity, and the ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and changing demands.


Education:

A Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
