About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Professional Banking Consultant to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their financial goals and build lasting relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients in all areas of the branch and community, uncovering their banking needs and providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Sales and Referrals: Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging technology to deliver exceptional client experiences, drive sales, and retain business.
  • Client Support: Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting them with a full range of financial transactions and resolving any banking issues promptly.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners to make the most of business opportunities and referrals.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Mutual Funds accreditation or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
  • Skills and Qualifications: Demonstrated passion for putting clients first, success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment, problem-solving and people skills, flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and digital literacy across a broad range of devices
