About the Role:

At Hub International Ontario Limited, we're seeking a talented Personal Lines Sales Specialist to join our Personal Lines Sales team. As a trusted advisor, you'll design and deliver custom insurance solutions that provide more than protection - they offer resilience, assurance, and peace of mind. Your Key Responsibilities:

  • You will use your expertise to provide tailored advice and guidance that meets our customers' unique needs, positioning yourself as their personal insurance expert.
  • You will smash sales targets and exceed expectations, consistently delivering exceptional results.
  • You will be a paperwork wizard, flawlessly completing and issuing insurance applications and certificates, and setting up our internal and external keying teams for success.
  • You will build and maintain dynamic, professional relationships with key underwriters, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • You will resolve client concerns and complaints efficiently, leveraging your professional charm and deep product knowledge.
  • You will master using Applied Rating Services or Company Portals to provide our potential clients with accurate quotes.
  • You will represent us at industry functions, showcasing your expertise and representing our brand with pride.
  • You will stay curious and committed to ongoing learning, keeping your finger on the pulse of industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflow processes.
  • You will participate in our training initiatives, contributing to the growth and development of our team.

What You'll Need for Success:

  • A RIBO License in good standing is a must; additional provincial licenses are a plus.
  • At least 2 years of industry or personal lines experience is required; more experience is always a bonus.
  • Extensive experience with Major Domestic Personal Lines Markets like Aviva, Intact, Economical, and others is highly valued.
  • You must be a sales whiz with a knack for quotes and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • You must have a professional presentation and understanding of the personal insurance business in a sales-driven environment.
  • Thriving in a high-volume environment is a must; we're a fast-paced team that's always on the move.
  • You must be a computer whiz, with broker management systems like EPIC & ARS being second nature to you.
  • You must be a quick learner when it comes to our business model and value proposition.
  • You must be a team player, comfortable collaborating with others both in person and in the virtual world.
  • You must have strong oral and written communication skills that impress.
  • A professional insurance designation like CAIB, CIP, CRM, or something similar is a nice-to-have.
