Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team at Cameron. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring safe and timely product delivery, and promoting company products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attain excellence in learning and competency events to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations at customer job sites, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Operate and maintain valves, both manual and hydraulic, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Repair and maintain SLB manufactured products, including valves, actuation, and control panels, to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Lubricate and perform preventative maintenance on SLB equipment to extend its lifespan and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Work closely with customers to troubleshoot issues related to SLB products, providing expert advice and solutions to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Perform field work throughout Alberta and British Columbia, and shop work otherwise, to ensure seamless service delivery and minimize travel time.
  • Complete accurate and timely safety records and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance service delivery and safety.
  • Engage with customers to promote company products and services, building strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Mentor and support colleagues as required, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team performance and capabilities.
