Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction and Excavation Project Lead to manage major renovation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within established budget parameters.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and technicians, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Analyze technical needs and challenges, estimate costs, and prepare presentation files for special projects.
  • Solicit and negotiate with external professionals and contractors, adhering to contract management policies.
  • Analyze service offers, bids, and payment requests, providing recommendations to the organization.
  • Verify compliance and quality of services, including contracts, plans, specifications, expert reports, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate closely with organizations to ensure solid coordination with occupants and project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in construction project management or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while respecting deadlines and budgets.
  • Strong understanding of building standards, legal requirements, and contract management policies.
  • Good technical knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • Sense of initiative, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time and priority management, proactivity, and autonomy.
  • Good stress management and adaptability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, combined with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • College diploma in architecture or certificate in architecture, combined with 3+ years of experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fluent in English (oral and written). Bilingualism is an asset.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
Benefits

  • 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexible hours according to project needs.
