Job Description

The Commercial Cleaning Specialist will be responsible for conducting various general housekeeping cleaning services at assigned residential and commercial client sites.

Responsibilities
  • Dust and Polish Surfaces: Dust all furniture, including desks, chairs, tables, and other areas as assigned.
  • Glass and Mirror Cleaning: Clean all mirrors and glass within the unit, including interior glass in partitions and doors.
  • Bathroom Sanitation: Clean, sanitize, and polish all bathroom fixtures, including toilet bowls, urinals, and hand basins.
  • Waste Management: Empty and maintain all containers and garbage bins.
  • Supply Replenishment: Refill all dispensers to normal limits, including napkins, soap, tissue, towel, liners, and cups.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform additional cleaning instructions received from clients (when required).
  • Client Interaction: Establish positive rapport with clients when possible.
  • Service Excellence: Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client.
  • Safety Compliance: Conduct all work in accordance with company safety policies.
Qualifications
  • Effective Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Cleanliness Pride: Pride taken in providing clean residential and commercial environments to clients.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Flexibility: Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings.
  • Teamwork: Works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Office building, cleaning service company, commercial building.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Secondary School Certificate is an asset.
  • Experience: Experience is not necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
Compensation
  • Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.
