Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead a team of designers and design leaders to create world-class consumer products and experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless design execution.
  • Drive the development of design systems, tools, and processes that support the company's growth and innovation.
  • Establish and maintain successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure design is integrated into the company's overall strategy.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in a design leadership role, with a proven track record of building high-performing design teams and delivering high-quality products at scale.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining successful, influential working relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with management of remote work groups and ability to effectively lead and motivate a distributed team.
  • Proven experience in Product Design, with a background in building B2C mobile products in an agile environment.
  • Ability to seamlessly flip between the language of business and design, setting meaningful goals and objectives for the team, while advocating for important design decisions to company leadership.
  • History of diving into research and analytics to help define the direction of the product.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to critically think and solve problems with cross-functional teams, and always considering the business side of design to further the strategy of the company.
