About the Role

The Amazon Key team is a pioneering force in inventing and implementing groundbreaking initiatives for Amazon deliveries and services within Ring. We are dedicated to enhancing customer experience through next-generation technologies, and we are seeking an exceptional, entrepreneurial full-stack Software Development Engineer to help drive this mission.

This year, we are growing our team to support web development for several greenfield projects and internal tools. Our tech stacks include mostly native AWS services, using AWS CDK, Next.js, and React.js single-page applications. We operate several web views inside other native apps.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements for our web applications into well-designed, well-documented, and well-maintained front-end code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in proposing and implementing new architecture and using AI/ML to deliver greater value for customers.

A Day in the Life
- Work closely with product managers within the Key organization to understand customer needs and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with other SDEs, QAEs, SDMs, BIEs, and marketers to troubleshoot and understand any challenges facing our customers.

About the Team
The Amazon Key team supports millions of secure in-garage deliveries. Our plans include other products and enhancements around secure delivery. We are a large, cohesive, and distributed team focused on outstanding customer and partner experience.

Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
