About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Harbridge and Cross Limited. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of subcontractors, planning and organizing daily operations, and preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects
    • Develop and implement project schedules and timelines
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
    • Monitor and control project expenses
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
    • Develop and implement training programs for staff
  • Contract Management
    • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Quality Control
    • Develop and implement quality control programs
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Communication
    • Develop and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders
    • Provide regular project updates to management and clients
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction project coordination or a related field
  • Language
    • English language proficiency
  • Work Environment
    • 35 hours per week
