Your Opportunity:

Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stores I. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of hospital supplies, equipment, and food. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that our facilities have the necessary resources to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming requisitions and distribute supplies to designated areas
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies
  • Track and report on inventory levels to prevent overstocking and ensure optimal resource utilization

Requirements:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and push/pull carts weighing up to 275 kg
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a computerized inventory control system
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and WHMIS certification
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
