Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Assistant at Active Child's Education Daycare Tottenham. The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing activities that cater to the diverse needs of children
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure a well-stocked and organized environment
  • Support early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and craft preparation to promote their cognitive and creative skills
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors to inform their teaching practices
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Efficient interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, educators, and parents
