About the Role

Fountain Tire Regina is seeking a responsible and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work orders.
  • Complete and maintain various safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards.
  • Advise customers and customer-facing associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
  • Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts.

Working Conditions

  • A team environment where hard work, concise communication, and clear heads are rewarded.
  • Consistent lifting of weights approximately 25KG is required.
  • This work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy, etc.
  • This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching, or kneeling.

Requirements

  • Registered Journeyman Automotive Service Technician preferred; apprentices will also be considered.
  • A valid driver's license is a must.
  • Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must.
  • A team player who takes pride in their work.
