Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to our Vision Centre.
- Assist customers with their optical needs, including booking eye appointments and providing product information.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including filing, cleaning, and displaying products.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card payments, and benefits systems.
- Communicate effectively with customers, Opticians, and doctors to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support the maintenance of layaway and other customer programs.
- Perform technical measurements of eyewear to ensure accurate fits.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. business, retail management).
- Previous experience in an optical or retail environment.
- Knowledge of optical products and services.
