Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Decorative Finishing Specialist to join our team at Wescon Cedar Products Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation
    • Clean and sand surfaces to ensure a smooth finish
  • Repair and Refurbishment
    • Efficiently repair cracks and holes in surfaces
  • Paint Application
    • Mix paint to achieve the desired colour and texture
    • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Equipment Operation
    • Operate airless spray equipment safely and efficiently
    • Utilize brush painting techniques for precise control
  • Coating/Application Specialization
    • Demonstrate expertise in paint spraying applications
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Weight Handling
    • Capable of lifting over 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Personal Suitability
    • Flexible and reliable team player
  • Benefits
    • Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
