Trucking Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
Moving Wheels Freight Inc. is seeking a skilled Trucking Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks using the appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Operate and Drive: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials to destinations across the country.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure it is in good working order.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to our central dispatch team regarding the status of your trips and any issues that may arise.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
- Experience: Have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
Work Details:
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Hours: Work 35 hours per week.
- Work Term: This is a permanent position.
