CareRx is a leading provider of specialty pharmacy services to seniors in Canada. With a large network of pharmacy fulfillment centers, we deliver medications in a timely and cost-effective manner. We work closely with our home operator partners to promote resident health, staff education, and medication system quality and efficiency.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Regulated Pharmacy Technician to provide support to our pharmacy locations in British Columbia and Western Canada. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, quality assurance, and data entry practices. They will work from their home city and travel to pharmacies as needed to provide support activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support quality assurance activities, including data entry, prescription technical checks, and packaging checks.
  • Complete final checks for new admissions and prescription checks for new residents.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of demographic and prescription information.
  • Deliver superior customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Meet legislative requirements within their scope of practice as a regulated pharmacy technician.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacy regulated technician.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long term pharmacy regulated technician.
  • Excellent communication, data entry, and calculation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
