Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. You will also be responsible for handling and reporting lost and found items, as well as performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including washing windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Accessibility Accommodations: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, such as ramps and elevators, and provide visual and auditory accessibility accommodations, such as braille and screen readers.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, offer mentorship and coaching opportunities, and provide awareness training to employees.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, assist with immediate settlement needs, and support social and labor market integration.
  • Support for Youth: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, offer on-the-job training, and provide mentorship and coaching opportunities.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support veterans, offer mentorship and coaching opportunities, and provide awareness training to employees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support indigenous people, offer mentorship and coaching opportunities, and provide cultural competency training.
