The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Clinic Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing exceptional patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm and welcoming greetings to patients, ensuring a positive first impression of our clinic.
- Verify and update patient information for each scheduled appointment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate with patients while they wait, keeping them informed of any delays or changes to their schedule.
- Ensure the reception area is well-presented, organized, and maintained to the highest standards.
- Accurately input patient information into our dental software, ensuring all necessary details are recorded and up-to-date.
- Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member, ensuring prompt and efficient communication.
- Return messages in a timely manner, ensuring patients receive a prompt response to their inquiries.
- Optimize patient appointment scheduling to ensure efficient use of our resources and minimize wait times.
- Manage patient re-care systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our clinic's policies and procedures.
- Place follow-up calls to patients after treatment, as required, to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns regarding appointments, confirmations, changes, and cancellations, providing clear and concise information.
- Process patient referrals and other patient-related correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with patients, colleagues, and other dental and medical professionals, upholding the highest standards of customer service and communication.
- Handle patient records and email correspondence in compliance with privacy and security requirements and legislation, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Interact with insurance companies, including sending and receiving pre-determinations, to ensure seamless communication and efficient claims processing.
- Respect office policies surrounding payment plans and collecting payments, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Assist the Treatment Coordinator and Office Manager with additional duties, as required, to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience as a Dental Administrator, with a strong background in patient services and administrative support.

Pay: $25-$30 per hour
Expected Hours: 32-40 per week
