We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at NOW Health Group Canada/Puresource Natural Products Distributor. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Canadian regulatory requirements for natural health products, foods, cosmetics, consumer products, and medical devices.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations of new and existing products to ensure compliance with Health Canada's regulations and guidelines.
- Prepare and submit product and site license applications, notifications, and amendments in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality operations by following quality policies and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct literature searches and compile research findings to support product licensing requirements.
- Work with regulatory agencies to resolve compliance-related matters.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as nutrition, chemistry, or human biology.
- Proven research skills and ability to interpret scientific studies and reports.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to correspond with regulatory agencies.
- Familiarity with Health Canada's regulations and guidelines for natural health products, foods, and cosmetics.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS-Office suites and Oracle Applications.
