Job Summary:
The Procurement Contract Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in their search for procurement agents and public tenders. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs and provide advice on procurement trends and practices.
- Guide employees in drafting calls for tenders or proposals and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Verify compliance of documents produced and steps in the procurement process.
- Ensure that suppliers respect contractual commitments and follow up during the bidding period.
- Review and format tender documents prior to launch.
- Prepare comparative tables and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Authorize changes or corrections to orders when required.
- Develop and maintain management reports related to follow-up.
Required Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A college diploma in supply management, administrative sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years' relevant experience in procurement or a similar position, preferably in the public sector.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite tools.
- Excellent oral and written French language skills.
- Knowledge or mastery of laws and regulations governing procurement in public organizations.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Initiative and conflict management skills.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
