Job Title: Recreation Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recreation Technician to join our team at Municipalité de Saint-Épiphane. As a Recreation Technician, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating recreational, fitness, and sports activities for our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Plan and develop recreational, fitness, and sports programs for various age groups and interests.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with the coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events, including setup, execution, and cleanup.
  • Leadership: Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair sports equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition for use.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on program participation, event attendance, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Our team works in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Work Schedule: 36 to 40 hours per week, with variable or compressed work weeks available.
