Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rubber Moulder Operator to join our team at Produits American Biltrite Ltée. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, moulding, and curing rubber materials or rubber products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and tend machinery to produce high-quality rubber products
  • Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed
  • Train or assist in the training of other workers
  • Lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly
  • Operate finishing machines to trim, grind, or buff rubber products into final form
  • Inspect finished products for defects and conformance to specifications
  • Affix seals or tags to approved products
  • Make minor adjustments or repairs to products
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
