About the Role:

The YMCA of Niagara is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Administrative Officer to lead our operational functions and drive our mission forward. As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for translating our mission into measurable outcomes and ensuring our operations are dynamic and resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our operational teams, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance our profile, reach, and impact within the community, ensuring everyone feels valued and connected.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of staff training programs, equipping employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Regularly evaluate and report on our business performance, developing plans to optimize capital and financial resources and generate sustainable results.
  • Ensure adequate risk assessment and mitigation to protect our assets and reputation, while ensuring compliance with contracts, regulations, and other legal requirements.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services, ensuring they align with our operational and strategic plans and provide essential support to those who need it most.
  • Ensure that all YMCA facilities are maintained to the highest standards, creating safe and conducive environments for members and staff.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of business experience in senior leadership roles, with experience in a not-for-profit organization, charity, or community-oriented organization preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with proficiency in data analysis and various software systems.
  • Proactivity, self-motivation, and a confident approach to leadership.
  • Cultivates positive internal and external interactions to achieve work-related goals.
