CDA Landscape Services is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles to build and repair structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles to build and repair structures
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
  • Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Physically demanding
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience

Work Setting:

  • Construction

Work Language: English

Work Term: Permanent

Hours: 32 hours per week
