Key Responsibilities- Analyze and prepare surface documentation for acquisitions and divestitures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Resolve discrepancies and post-close deficiencies, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Update land systems to reflect A&D transactions, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
- Administer existing surface land files, including landowner assignments, file analysis, and vendor maintenance.
- Review Title Opinions for deficiencies and rectification, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support land inquiries and communicate land requirements.
- Provide mentorship and direction to junior analysts and contractors, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
- Ensure protection of Pembina's interests regarding surface and mineral rights, upholding contract obligations.
- Collaborate with the Land Department to monitor performance standards, balance workloads, and maintain internal reporting.
- Support Land Leadership as needed, contributing to the development of strategic initiatives.
- Completion of a Petroleum Land Administration Certificate or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 12+ years of Surface Land experience, with demonstrated A&D experience in both crown and freehold lands.
- Proficiency in software related to the role, including CS Land, Landview, Energylink, Microsoft Office, and others.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to a fast-changing environment, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to apply sound business judgment and analytical skills.
- A team player with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and provide quality service.
- Self-starter who directs own efforts based on high-level business objectives.
- Willingness to share knowledge and make efforts to improve the effectiveness of the team.
