The Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee the dispatch center, supervise dispatchers and drivers, and manage fleet day-to-day operations to achieve excellence in load completion, product quality, on-time deliveries, and inventory accuracy.

This leader will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate telematics systems and electronic driver logs (ELD)
  • Supervising dispatchers, drivers, and driver assistants to ensure adherence to schedules and compliance with traffic laws
  • Monitoring and enforcing dispatcher and driver performance standards
  • Collaborating with dock coordinators and warehouse teams to ensure drivers depart with complete and accurate loads
Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years of senior supervisory experience overseeing large, complex fleets and dispatch operations in the distribution or warehouse industry
  • A comprehensive understanding of fleet and transportation management
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with telematics systems, route planning, and reporting tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work evenings or weekends as required
