Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a Principal Cloud Engineer.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native infrastructure development using Kubernetes.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, and leading the architecture of cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes.
  • Implement scalable, high-availability solutions using K8s Controllers, Operators, and CRs.
  • Integrate advanced tools like Karpenter to optimize infrastructure performance.
  • Architect MLOps middleware integration for dynamic workload migration and resource disaggregation.
  • Build monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure seamless operations.
  • Promote cost optimization through FinOps best practices in K8s deployments.
  • Mentor software engineers on K8s best practices and promote adoption across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive K8s adoption in multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Contribute to open-source Kubernetes projects and advocate for community-driven development.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals, including cluster management and node configuration.
  • Experience with K8s core components, such as Karpenter, cluster autoscaler, CNI, CSI, CRI, CRD, and operators.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Kubernetes infrastructure development and deployment.
  • Contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects.
  • A minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Go, Python, and Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
