We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team at Back In Motion. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide high-quality care to Residents in a Long-Term Care Home in Owen Sound area, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement treatment plans set by the supervising Physiotherapist to progress Residents' functional independence.
- Conduct group exercise classes for Residents and maintain and clean rehabilitation equipment.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement programs, including measurable outcomes and satisfaction feedback.
- Collaborate with the supervising Physiotherapist to ensure high-quality Resident care.
- 2-year Diploma from an accredited OTA/PTA Program or equivalent.
- Completion of satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) upon hire.
- Up-to-date on required vaccinations, including COVID-19, influenza vaccine, and TB skin test.
- Knowledge/experience in evidence-based musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory practice.
- Superior communication and clinical reasoning skills.
