Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance to ensure optimal sales results.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that sales floors are adequately staffed.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide insights to management on sales trends and customer behavior.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
Work Environment

The Sales Team Lead will work in a fast-paced retail environment, managing a team of 3-4 sales workers. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to sales workers.
  • Accurate and efficient in managing inventory and sales data.
  • Client-focused and able to provide excellent customer service.
Working Conditions

The Sales Team Lead will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, with regular periods of standing and walking.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Term

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week.
