About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our department and contribute to our research-intensive environment. The successful applicant will have a PhD in Clinical Psychology from a CPA- or APA-accredited program, ideally with accredited internship experience.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Clinical Psychology
  • Supervise research projects and clinical training
  • Contribute to departmental and university service needs
Requirements
  • PhD in Clinical Psychology from a CPA- or APA-accredited program
  • Accredited internship experience
  • Eligibility for registration as a psychologist in Nova Scotia
Preferred Qualifications
  • Research specialization in addictions, pediatric pain, knowledge mobilization, sleep, environmental psychology, severe mental illness, psychosocial interventions, sexual dysfunction, transition to parenthood, and personality and psychopathology
  • Experience with ecological momentary assessment, observational, longitudinal, and RCTs
