Job Title: Early Childhood Educator - Rainbow Daycare & OSC

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Rainbow Daycare & OSC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and discussing progress and problems of children at staff meetings
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Basic security clearance and medical exam
  • Relevant experience working with children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
