Project Manager

This position will require the candidate to have a strong technical background in the industrial market with a preference for mining and mineral processing experience. The position will involve working with a cross-functional team to develop proposals and plans that meet the needs of clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing engineering deliverables to meet client needs.
- Coordinating with owners, operators, and construction contractors for brownfield engineering work.
- Managing a team of discipline engineers, designers, and technical support staff to meet agreed-upon scope, budget, and schedule.
The successful individual will need to have:
- Excellent skills in safety and risk management.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in engineering deliverable management.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An engineering degree and professional engineer registration.
- 7+ years of relevant project management experience.
- PMP certification.
- Understanding of design regulations for the mining industry in the Newfoundland and Labrador environment.
