Key Responsibilities- Cultivate a supportive learning environment for children to thrive.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during onsite and offsite activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to centre policies and Public Health guidelines.
- Prepare meals and snacks in compliance with centre policies and Public Health guidelines.
- Support staff and participate in activities as a play partner with children.
- 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed childcare centre.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and building a sense of belonging.
- Professionalism, strong work ethics, and excellent teamwork skills.
- A valid Standard First Aid and CPR certificate.
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Police check within the last six months.
- Reliable transportation: ability to commute within Ottawa region.
