Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a supportive learning environment for children to thrive.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children during onsite and offsite activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to centre policies and Public Health guidelines.
  • Prepare meals and snacks in compliance with centre policies and Public Health guidelines.
  • Support staff and participate in activities as a play partner with children.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed childcare centre.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and building a sense of belonging.
  • Professionalism, strong work ethics, and excellent teamwork skills.
  • A valid Standard First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • A clear Vulnerable Sector Police check within the last six months.
  • Reliable transportation: ability to commute within Ottawa region.
