Retail Store Manager

Best Canadian Dollar Store is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties.
- Establish work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed during peak periods.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform store operations decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that products are easily accessible to customers.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Client focus.
- Efficient interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral communication.
